Dunno what everyone elses opinions are on Tarot Cards, but i think more than anything they are a tool to put things in perspective. I do kinda believe that subconsciously you can shuffle the cards to select ones that apply to the situation you are inquiring about. ANYWAY, I have a new deck...i've had an older deck for a while....but i never liked it because it wasnt fully ilustrated....it was more like a deck of playing cards. My new ones are fully illustrated with pictures collaged from art from the late middle ages and early renaissance. they are all very pretty and easy to interpret.
Well...I've done a few readings on my self....and i seem to always get the same cards coming up....no matter how many times i shuffle them. It's really becoming a pattern. considering there are 78 cards and the spread i use only uses 10 cards, thats kinda weird. Which is partly why i think subconsciously you can shuffle the cards to get one that apply to you to come up.
ANYWAY...i did a reading tonight about my love life....and it was pretty much right. I mean...as far as the cards suggesting that things havent been so great for me in this aspect of my life and it's kinda left me jaded and cynical....but that I really need to put things behind me and overcome my demons to move on in life and find someone i want to be with for the long run. That i need to put in some effort, which i havent been doing. And if I can do that, then good news will come and i may possibly meet a guy...which the cards suggest could have dark hair and darker complexion.
But who knows! if anything....tarot cards are just fun and a source of entertainment among friends.
