To wake up from dream filled slumber ...
Among the many dreams I had last night, I had the most magnificent MUSIC VIDEO DREAM. This was wierd, because I never dream so organized as that, it's usualy all glued together all nimbly-pimbly in patchwork.
But, I digress.
Although I can not remember the music or lyrics to the song in my head, i do remember the title and the video itself. Here is the dream:
It starts as a closeup of the singer, which oddly seemed to me to be an older version of someone I know, but not very well. It then panned to the person's love interest, and kept panning out again and again. Each time you pan out you see that everything is revolving around this one person ... everyone in the city is walking around this person, then you see the earth and the moon revolving around it, then the sun revolving around the earth, then the galaxy revolving around the earth ... and on and on until you pan out through the lead singer's eye at the end of the song. All of the pictures are in renaissance/davinci style diagrams and models of the universe.
It was a fucking amazing video. I wish it were real. The title of the song was "My World Revolves Around You" and I remember it being this deep goth anthem type song about this utterly obbsessive stalker type love.
In an effort that one day I can make this song, I am working on lyrics. Hoping people might throw suggestions my way, espescially The Thousand Named One ... er, I mean Duncan, my roommate. He's gothy enough to understand what I want out of such a song. Here's what I have for lyrics right now ...
