Supposing it's not obvious already, I suggest everyone exercise particular caution when traveling from one place to another. Preferably don't go alone or leave a line of communication open between you and someone else at all times so they know if something happens.

Some of the transformations seem to leave the effected with an idea of who they are and this lets them recognize acquaintances, but others don't and it's safer to assume the latter.

If you've been cursed and you're alone, if you don't know what to do or something of that nature, ask someone. Better to figure out a fix or a solution than wait and have it completely beyond your control assuming it's not that way to start.
