I wonder about these sorts of days. As long as I've been here I still don't quite gather the reason for them.

But for the most part they seem a good opportunity - seeing people we wouldn't otherwise be able to, old friends especially.

Oh, sure. I just find that transdimensional transportation goes down a bit easier with an alcoholic chaser or three. Don't you?

I admit that I've never followed world travel with any sort of alcohol, so I wouldn't know.

This is probably the part where I admit that I think alcohol is a good way to follow just about anything: transdimensional travel, a sea voyage, a hunt, another alcoholic beverage.

Less than some, more than most. Usually there's a lot more involved in getting from one dimension to another. Does it always happen this accidentally here?

Always. Neither the entrances nor the exits happen by choice.

I think you'll find, if you try to leave on your own accord, it won't work.

Well, that's normal at least. The only way you used to be able to manage it where I'm from is with these buttons. Try it without, and you might as well be wishing for gold and 1787 Chateau Lafite rain and a set of young, nubile litter-bearers.
