Ibiki was standing before his desk as the students filed in that week. On the board behind him was written, in elegant script, "Creationism vs. Darwinism."
He liked to make sure the basics were well covered, and this, he allowed, would bridge into several other topics. Given the week's reading was ahead of this discussion, and last week's had centered around it, the students should all be prepared.
Should, however, was not often the reality.
"As you will note, both the side you will be playing, quite possibly, devil's advocate for and the person against whom you will initially be debating is written on the board. Mind you, your groups are comprised of each individual assigned to debate your given topic. After initial arguments are presented between the illustrated individuals, the floor is open to whomever the team wishes to send out."
