For once, Kurenai was in a more subdued mood, her skirt practically knee-length and her shoes bearing a reasonable three inch stacked heel. The more obvious reason for her slightly dour look would be the bandage wrapped around her foot and ankle, semi-disguised by the laces of her sandals. She was still smiling brightly, waving the students into the room as she fiddled with a tv/vcr set-up.
Due to her slight injury, she was not feeling up to dancing and hoped that Sakura or some other student would be willing to work with Rock Lee, but in the meantime she had spliced together some examples of the Tango for the class to view. Popping in the movie, she waited for everyone to arrive.
"Dear students, I apologize that we will not be immediately starting the lesson with dancing, but I do promise you will learn more about the Tango today. Just to start, I'd like to show you some examples of what we'll all be proficient in by the end of this semester. This tape has scenes from various movies showcasing the Argentinian Tango. After we watch it I'll observe you all dancing the Salida in your pairs, and then we'll move on. Oh, since I wrenched my ankle, I will not be able to dance with Rock Lee today, so Sakura-chan will you please partner with him on my behalf?"
