Art Class - Semester 2, Week 1, All Periods
First class post of the semester, whut.
Teacher: Umino Iruka, and TA Kajiura Mizuki

(There's only a handful of people in this class since it's not a core subject, so we'll squish all the periods/grades together.<3)
Iruka rubbed his forehead as the class filed in, and he glanced at Mizuki. It had been a...long vacation. He smiled at the assembled students.
"Welcome back to school, class," he said as soon as the chatter had died down. "I hope you all had a good holiday? Good to hear it. Now, today, we'll be working mostly with inks..." He gestured to the array of rapidograph pens set on the desk in front of him. "These are rapidographs. I'll teach you how to fill them with ink at the end of the class, but for now, they're already inked and ready to go. It's all black inks, and I'd like you all to practice the shading techniques in monochrome that you learned before the break. For most of the class period, I'd like you to practice self portraits. Take out your class sketchbooks for this - they're stacked in the back of the class, where you left them before break. Please bring them up here for us to see when you're done. And Azukari-kun," he added, looking at Sai, "if I see a pair of scissors enter your hand at all during this class period, I won't think twice about sending you to Tsunade-sensei's office."
Iruka turned his attention to Tobi, and brought a box of crayons and Tobi's own drawing pad over to him. "You can do these today, Tobi," he said kindly, smiling. "If you'd like to draw yourself, you can go ahead and do that, too."
