Oh hohoho, Orochimaru and Kabuto!

Who? The Evilest evils, Orochimaru and Kabuto
Where? Thier regular cafe
What? Being evil. Talking over tea/coffee whatever
When? Before New Years. Yes, we are slow, but hey, I was in Australia all break, so. . . . stfu.
Warnings? Nope. We are evil men, being evil.

He had needed to see Kabuto for a while, and like ever, when he was meeting another person, they were meeting at the cafe Orochimaru always went to.
He set the change down on the counter, taking the cup and sitting at his usual place by the window, in a relaxed shirt and black slacks.
Kabuto was never late, he hoped this time was no exception. He despised waiting games.

Kabuto pulled up to the cafe on his bike, and parked it. Grabbing his violin case from the basket (Japan was safe, but his violin was too precious to leave outside in cold weather longer then needed), he headed inside. He ordered a cofee, and without so much as even looking, paid and headed towards the usual table.
There was no need to check to see if Orochimaru was there, he knew.
"Orochimaru-senesi," said Kabuto, bowing slightly, then sitting. "I hope I haven't kept you waiting." He knew he was at least ten minutes early, but still.

"Of course not," he replied, gesturing to the seat needlessly. "How have your holidays been?" He asked casually as people passed them. There was more to discuss, but not at the moment. He could spare some idle chatter.

"Ahh, the same as usual," he said. "I went to see my grandparents, my grandfather has recovered from his stroke, it seems, so it was actually a good holiday. I got to play with my Grandmother's koto and shamisen while I was there. . . The koto is a very beautiful insrument. I might think about teaching myself to play."

In between sips of caffeine, Orochimaru nodded, briefly letting his mind wander to the instruments - he was familiar with their sounds.
"I'm glad to hear it is so. Did you have a chance to interact with Zaku-kun?" Of course Kabuto knew what he meant by this.

Kabuto sighed, trying not to scowl (though, Orochimaru was the only one to se him less then smiling). "Unfortunatly, due to familial requirements, not yet. But I will," he said.

Nodding, Orochimaru seemed pleased. "I don't doubt that you'll do a good job on reminding him of what he seems to have forgotten." Orochimaru didn't do his own dirty work - that was beneath him.

Kabuto nodded. "I look forward to is," said Kabuto. And he did. Thinking that Orochimaru-sama was a bank of some sort--who did Zaku think he was? Kabuto would put him in his place properly, and do it all with a smile.
It was just the way these things worked.

Sipping his cup of caffeine again, Orochimaru smirked. "I think we both do. He needs put in place about far more than just money."

A smile that was decidedly unlike any other smile Kabuto ever wore in public, crept across his face. "Agreed, Orochimaru-sensei," he said.

The sight of that smile was familiar to Orochimaru, and it meant that something that would amuse both of them was going to happen. Something the rest of the world would probably consider evil.
"I can assume you've been keeping in touch with your usual contacts?" 'Such as Tayuya?' He asked, curious as to what information he had missed due to his workaholic nature - usually Tayuya and her group were involved.

"Of course," he said. "Nothing really to report. Tayuta and Deidara are dating, though, at last. That's about the only think of note, at the moment."

Orochimaru snorted into his coffee - finally was the word. "Great, so I'll have more distracted students..." he commented sarcastically.

"It's no different than usual, really," said Kabuto, sighing. "They're always distracted by something. It will just be a different something, now."

"This is true." Orochimaru admitted, stirring his coffee with the spoon that had lay neglected since he came here.

Kabuto sipped his coffee thoughtfully. To all apperances, he seemed perfectly at ease contemplating his friends distractions, but he was planning something. . . .special, for Zaku.
"Any plans for the new year, sensei?"

Orochimaru's eyes held the slightest gleam in them - he had ideas of what might happen, and some may call him harsh, or sadistic for such measures, but it was his way and it always would be.
"Nothing in particular. I may venture to see the celebration Oshima will have on, though I don't know. Yourself?"

"If I can, I will be on mainland," he said. "There is supposed to be a concert there. I thought I might go and see what they were doing. If not. . . perhaps I will go to Oshima's celebration. . . . "

"Fair enough," Orochimaru replied, before sipping his cup of caffeine, glancing to the window. Tucking a stray strand of hair behind his ear, Orochimaru thought briefly, sighing onto the liquid slightly and finishing it off.

Kabuto sighed, and finished his drink. Looking out the window, he frowned, there were flurries. Not outright snow, the island didn't get a lot of significant snowfall, but still. He had ridden his bike here, it would be an unpleasent ride back to his apartment.
"Is there anything else I can do for you, sir?" Kabuto asked. Sir was close enough to respectful for a teacher without being suspect, certainly not suspicious like calling him 'Orochimaru-sama' would be.
Well, perhaps not suspicious, but it would raise eyebrows. And he was not like the rest of Oshima, he liked to keep his. . . affairs quiet.
What there were of them in that manner, at any rate.

"At this moment in time, there is nothing that comes to mind." Though, it probably wouldn't be long until there was something. "You are dismissed." Orochimaru waved his hand slightly before setting down his now empty cup and standing up, pulling on his jacket.
There were places more appropriate for longer discussions.

Kabuto nodded, slipping on his own coat, and putting on his scarf. "Of course, sir," he said.He fished out his wallet, and paid for his drink, and headed out to his bike. The prospect of riding back was dreary at best, but he didn't really have any other option. (Even if offered, he'd refuse the ride, he wasn't about to leave his bike in this weather in front of the coffee shop.)

Orochimaru pulled open the door, holding it open behind him as he stepped out of the small cafe, small flakes of snow finding their way into his hair.

Kabuto liked the way the snow looked in his sensei's hair. It fit, somehow. Cold, beautiful, and particulary dangerou in large enough doses.
He should know, he bore some of those marks.
"Should I meet you later, then?" The when and there where were obvious, of course. There was only one place, that meant.
For further discussion of things that needed done, of course.

"Naturally." Orochimaru replied shortly. He watched Kabuto, unmoving. So pale was the man that it was hard to distinguish his skin from the snow, he would probably have hidden perfectly, had it not been for the amount of black - both from his hair and clothes.
Later discussions would be...interesting.

Kabuto nodded. "I won't be late then," he said. He unlocked his bike, and gave Orochimaru a short bow. "I will see you later then, Orochimaru-sensei. Is there anything musical that you would care to hear? Since I will be returning hom before I see you again.. . " It was a genereous offer, Kabuto didn't usually take requests, unless he was using someone.
Orochimaru was the exception to that.
(Wasn't he?)

"Ah, I am delighted to hear whatever you've been inspired to begin, Kabuto-kun." Orochimaru's face - well, he wasn't smiling - but he seemed pleased by the offer.
"Until then." He walked off in the general direction of his house, hands in pockets as the softest amount of snow continued to fall.

Kabuto watched his teacher walk off for a bit, and shook his head. He had things to do. He took off on his bike, and headed down the road, towards his own home.
