Clean
So, tomorrow will mark three weeks since my cable Internet got shut off. I did that to primarily stop spending as much time on the computer at home, and secondly to reduce if not eliminate my viewing of Internet porn. And so tomorrow I'll have been clean for three weeks, I'm very happy about it. Viewing porn just wasn't healthy because I'm in a relationship. The first week you're without a particular addictive or quasi-addictive thing is definitely the toughest, but then your body adjusts to the new equilibrium and you continue on. So, I'm happy.
My computer shipped, I'm in the process of getting a used one off eBay. I haven't been doing any photography lately but I've decided I want my new computer to be able to handle that, so it could be 2x as expensive as I had originally planned. The original plan was to do any photography at my university, but I'd rather be able to do it from home. I'll continue with dial up Internet, to ensure I don't slip back to the porno trap. I might be able to get some part time work as a typist with a laptop, too.
Once I'm in Toronto I'm going to sell my 3.2 MP camera and get a used 5 MP one. I want to be able to make bigger prints.
