I'm making these strangled little sounds. Little squeaky twitchy noises, because if I actually squeal out loud my family will think I've gone crazy.

BECAUSE THIS IS SO MUCH LOVE - *more strangled little noises*

Ahh, the fluff. *is dead of fluff* And the little details are great touches to the story - things like 'Best Smile 2005', like natto-filled chocolates with gold dust (do those even EXIST? I've had natto, and it's revolting, in my opinion. I wouldn't spoil a chocolate by putting natto anywhere within fifteen feet of it. Gakuto has weird tastebuds.), the colognes Oshitari uses, the various girlfriends...

*makes more strangled noises at you* ♥! This was wonderful and heartwarming. Thank you for sharing it!

Ehehehe. So glad you enjoyed this. I was rather worried about the fluff at first... because somehow the Dirty Pair inspire, well, the Dirty, so I didn't know how people would take the fluff.

Eh... Japan is the land of strange inventions. I believe they came up with edible gold flakes on cakes and things, so I figured that chocolates with edible gold dust would exist somewhere. As for natto-filled chocolates, I was inspired by ROYCE' Chocolates, which sell chocolates that have unique Japanese flavours. I thought that it was not impossible to have natto-filled or natto-flavoured chocolates...

=D You're welcome. The 3-part sequel is coming up next, over the next few days.

I, rather like the poster above, am trying not to laugh out loud, because I do want my daughters to continue to sleep.

I loved when Gakuto fell off the seat (or whatever) - and Atobe decided a sledgehammer wasn't necessary this time.

And when Oshitari's glass shattered. Oh, those were hysterical.

The whole... scene between them was delightful! What a great job you've done!

^_^ Thanks.

The recamier is a sort of couch with no back.

As for Atobe, I didn't think he'd be the kind, thoughtful type. He was quite fed up with their obliviousness...

Oh, I agree with you, and he's probably right about Gakuto's personality, as well, but the idea that - oh, maybe I didn't have to be quite so blunt - was so hysterical....

Just lovely.

There was a sudden flash in his eyes that made Gakuto freeze. He knew this look; it was Yuushi when his mental faculties were at their finest, assessing the opponent, calculating his weaknesses and strengths, and then closing in for the kill-all in the space of probably less than two seconds.

Oshitari cocked his head to one side, eyes soft and dark, and then leaned forward again and calmly pressed a second kiss to the other corner of Gakuto’s mouth. Not on the lips, just a little bit to the side. The first touch had been experimental; the second was just for sheer wickedness, because Gakuto looked so funny with that stunned expression on his face. Maybe a third would be nice.

Whoo, he's a dangerous one. ^_^ Well done - exactly what I expected of Yuushi. Your Atobe was lovely, too! Perfect with his unnecessary bluntness! :D

My favourite part has to be where Yuushi's explaining he has to go apologise to Gakuto - excellent!

Well done!

Yuushi is, well, cool. I think there's no other word to describe his manner sometimes. He takes one look, judges what's needed, and coolly takes the necessary action.

I liked my Atobe too-- he isn't the nice and kind type. Cuts straight to the core, he does.

^^ Thank you so much. I love the rabu rabu icon! Gakuto is so cute!!! *laughs* I'm just kind of checking on the sequel, and then I'll post it up. It's very short-- and also in three simple parts. Quite digestible.

Ah, thanks! I wanted to try something fluffier and sweeter with both Oshitari and Gakuto, but I did try to retain the essential snappy, irritable part of Gakuto and Yuushi's general cool, laid-back attitude.
