tuesday night i attempted to hang out with sandra. that didn't go over so well, but almost every bad situation has a good point to it and this is how i realized that our city really can be beautiful. sitting on the big flight of steps next to big bite pizza may not sound like the most visually appealing aspect to st. john's, but i swear if you could have entered my mind for those few minutes... just looking at the brick buildings matched up next to the sky. i'll admit it's nothing spectacular during daylight when the sky is a chalky pastel blue but at night as it's slowly making the transition from royal to navy... and the right amount of wind...
so, so breath taking.
