you know why modern portraits look nothing of the past? past implying rembrandt, that is, kiddies-
its because the modern painters neglect to see the beauty of the archaic. archaics are nearly always unnoticed and consistantly over looked (just to double state my meaning).
i see the archaics and i know who they are.
i am going to portray the archaic. i am not going to mimic the old, but i am going to realize their beauty and show forth.
modern beauty is not.
archaism is go.
and to those who might still care to read this, might i mention a few of you who are, indeed, archaic:
-paranoid
-james, from what i have seen
-jen s.
-seth
-claire darling
formost runner, of my archaic genre, is dylan. congratulations, your genes have survived throughout the last 3-6 centurys to bring forth the appearance of a people seemingly long lost.
i praise your genetic material, as well as your wonderfully growing music taste and mental realiztions.
vive.
goodnight.
