Life is in bloom
My husband and I just harvested veggies from our garden. Yellow squash (2), swiss chard, zucchini and cucumbers(2). There are more cucumbers that can be picked tomorrow, tomatoes that are small and green, but will be calling our name in a few weeks. Also to come are red peppers and "sugar baby" watermelons which are currently the size of a gold ball. Yeay!!
I have been finding jobs that may actually pay more than $13/hour, and thanks to my big brother it may happen really soon!!
Our back yard, the lush green happiness that it is has4 squirrels- two who are frequent visitors and have names.
Brave sir robin - who is not afraid of us, and patiently waits when we open the door for the peanut he knows is coming, and Steve -named for Steve Carrol who is fidgety.
We alos have a ton of birds including cardinals, bluejays, and of course sparrows.
I love to sit in my yard and read and feel alive.
