Promise to self...being kept
Hey there glitter girl watchers.
After my trip to Cally, I promised myself I would do ritual for shabbat from now on. To have one day and keep it holy. Last Friday n SF I went to half-moon bay for services and was invited up to light the shabbat candles by Jhos, the one who married us. Such a blessing. I had a friend there and it was a fun and joyful celebration. Whoo hoo.
I have talked to my hubby and we will have Shabbat here tonight. I expressed wanting and needing to do this weekly. He supports this but does not yet really get it. That s ok, but he is on board!
Today, I continue to try to get job, clean house, make alter, and attempt to make gluten free challah.
I am trying to thin out our/mostly my stuff and make my home a place of peace.
As for the house hunting. I have refocused the energy. I want a "home" not the perfect house. We may have found it. It is inexpensive, has the things we want, is not perfect but will be a great home. Now we just need to put in an offer. I'm a bit worried about all our money savings going bye-bye, but everything balances out in the end.
