Another update
So, we found another house. It has a great layout, lots of land, and everything we were hoping for in the right price range but neither of us were smitten as we were with the other house
My Dad, bless his soul, is a home inspector, so we had them out on Sunday looking at it ( we only found the house on Saturday). By the time the dust cleared and we actually thought about it, we decided not to bid on it for a few reasons including the area was not quite right. We must be making out parents and the Realtor crazy.
Anyway, today I am cooking a 17lb turkey.
Somehow the world seems better and brighter than it has been feeling in a while. Life is good!
