Shoe Gaze
So wait, there's a whole genre out there dedicated to people who look at their shoe's? Yes. And how amazing they are. The name comes from these kids who were all skinny and weird looking, and anti social and pretty much when they play shows they'd just stand still and look down at the floor. They weren't very good interview subjects, and with like any "scene" or trend, there were those who did it just to be a part of it, but you can't forget the originators. And the greatest.
The Shoegaze sound consist of making melodies out of loud walls of distortion and noise. It's amazing. It creates an atmosphere, no fuck that- a world, out of the simple instruments you have in front of you. So here's my list:
