OOC: Backdated to when they get out of the sewers.

Harry's always been a fan of baseball. He supports the Yankees even though he doesn't live in New York anymore. He hates the Red Sox, even though he has no true disdain for Boston. After all, Alan is in Boston. How bad of a city can it be?

When he was in his senior year, he and Peter tried out for the basketball team. They sucked. A lot. That doesn't stop him from keeping a basketball in the trunk of his car for pick up games with Nick at lunch. Baseball will always be his favorite though. Baseball makes him happy.

There isn't a lot to be happy about these days. Bruce is Batman. Harry knows this as a fact now. He's been unable to go home to his wife and children because ninjas attacked Batman and Talia while Harry was there to witness it. At least Bruce isn't keeping him at his side for witness protection by handcuffing him to heaters anymore. That was strange. To see how casual Bruce could be about kidnapping him. Just as casual as Talia can be about killing people.

Harry's in autopilot right now. If Bruce says jump, Harry jumps without asking how high.

Bruce is Batman. Bruce is Batman. Bruce is Batman, and ninjas tried to kill them. This was a lot to take in.

They stayed in the sewers for a couple of days before deciding it was safe to find a cheap motel. A place where the Waynes and Osborns wouldn't normally check in. Harry knew just the place. He'd stayed there when he came to town with Goblin goo flowing through his veins, and a score to settle with Crane. They rent one room and since neither Talia or Bruce seem as concerned with a shower as Harry is, Harry disappears into the bathroom.

Images are flashing through his head. His father was the Green Goblin. Peter's face looking up at him when he pulled off the mask. Everyone wears masks. Everyone has secrets. Harry isn't sure why it hurts so much that Bruce is among the everyone. Maybe because he set him apart. He was his lifeline for normality in a world full of slayers, superheroes, villains, demons and vigilantes. Bruce was Bruce.

Except, Bruce is Batman.

He tries to wash all traces of the previous few days away. By the time he steps out of the shower, his hair is in his face. Loose wet curls that really could use a trim. His face is a little scruffy, but not the way Bruce is. Harry has never been able to grow a proper beard after all. He's got too much of a baby face. There's a towel wrapped around his waist when he steps out and looks at his traveling companions.

Two beds. This won't be awkward.

"Any chance you have more clothes I can borrow?" Harry asks Bruce. They should discuss the Batman stuff. They should discuss a lot of things. Like how the hell are they supposed to explain why Harry isn't back home yet. Kara will be worried. He knows if he mentions Kara to Bruce, Talia will be thrown in his face again. Which is funny, this thing about betrayal, that Bruce can be so disgusted about Harry sleeping with Talia, and while Harry is hurt about Batman, he's not disgusted. He's just worried.

Man, he'd much rather be thinking about baseball.
