THIS SONG. Absolutely NEVER FAILS to make me laugh. It's a great song, don't get me wrong. (You know, for some definitions of the word "great".) But, the LYRICS. And then-- THE VIDEO. Awww, I love that song (and video)! Dio was a great showman. I liked his philosophy that the audience deserved to see a spectacle at his live shows, since they were paying a lot of money. Dio was my first heavy metal love.

I miss him. RIP, Ronnie.

YESSSS!! HOLY DIVAH!!

The first time I heard this sing was when I was playing Guitar Hero. I had to stop playing a few seconds into the song, because I burst out laughing.

OH MY GOD REALLY?! I hope you watched the video then, because that's really part of the whole Holy Diver experience.

And THEN.

I don't know if you're into metal, but Killswitch Engage did an awesome cover of it that you should definitely listen to. (I guess KE is metalcore, really, but the cover stays pretty close to the original version anyway. I'm not into the overly screamy stuff myself, but KE has done some stuff I like.)

Oh, I did watch the video! It's like outtakes from "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe"!

Can I just say that I love love love that you're into metal? It brings me back to my high school days. Stuff that I listen to these days tends more towards post rock and math rock. Like Hella! http://bit.ly/kIq6NN

Oooh, Hella is interesting! What is math rock, actually? (I should just go look it up on wikipedia, lol.) What other stuff do you listen to (nowadays)?

YAY METAL! There are so many people into metal, but I feel like a lot of them are into... not the same type of metal I'm into? And so few of my friends are into metal, I'm definitely the odd one out (which goes for a lot of my music taste anyway).

Also OMG YAY FOOD. I don't cook all that much so I'm bad at talking about recipes and things but I <3 food!
