OMG, the Nodame Cantabile J-Drama is hysterically five-million times better than the anime. Well, comedy-wise anyway. (Which means something coming from me since I tend to just get annoyed by comedies more than anything else.) I like the anime more in terms of actual drama and story and hints of seriousness. Although I've only seen the first two episodes of the j-drama, so I don't know if I should necessarily make comparisons. But the j-drama is even funnier than the anime, probably because it's real people in really amusing roles with amusing personalities, and doing some really amusing physical comedy, instead of just drawings doing stuff only drawings can do. The actress for Nodame is just completely spot-on! ♥!♥!♥! I really wish there were more than only two episodes of the j-drama subbed! *whines*
I started dl'ing episode 3 of the j-drama raw, but I know it just won't be the same. Also, I have to make sure to stay ahead in the anime so that I actually know what's going on (or, what's supposed to be going on).
OMG! I can't believe I almost forgot to mention! Stresemann in the j-drama is just FREAKING HYSTERICAL! In the anime I thought he was amusing, but I was slightly annoyed by him. In the j-drama, he's just so over the top you can't help but laugh hysterically at him! I LOOOOVE his fake gaijin accent! 今日はみんなさんでゴコンしましょう！
