Tummyache~ (this subject has nothing to do with the post itself)

Wow, today was spectacularly boring. Aside from hanging out with Liz a little after picking her up from Katie's house around 6:30pm, I feel like I did a whole bunch of nothing. And not that good nothing, either. I got to read a little of my current read, Lie By Moonlight by Amanda Quick. It's pretty good, entertaining as all of her other stories are. Amanda Quick is one of the few authors of historical romances that I still read. Oddly enough, it is the pseudonym for Jayne Ann Krentz, who writes contemporary romances under her own name and which, mostly, I won't touch with a 10-foot pole. One exception was her recent title, Falling Awake, which was good but nothing to get excited about.

In any case, I didn't do much today.

Friday Angelica and Liz went fabric shopping all by themselves and actually bought fabric this time! Including fabric for the mushrooms' robes, hats, heartless-skin, and skirt-hoop wire to make the robes bell out. I just have to get around to, like, making these costumes. If I actually pull it off, it'll be a miracle. If not, I guess you can expect to see us in our Schwarz outfits, maybe? LOL. Who knows. Still left to be bought: yellow fishnet for the heartless' eyes, felt for the heartless logos on the mushrooms' robes, foam to make the hats.

Will met up with them after work, and Angelica went straight to her grandmother's house. Will and Liz met up with me at the store where Maryann was working by herself. After a little visit, Will, Liz and I went back to my house -- OMG, it was so nice to just sit and relax at home and not do anything and not be outside, I need a break from 6-day work-weeks -- where Will and I watched Buck-Tick's at the night side concert video (one of their best!) and Liz got ready to go to her friend's sleepover party.

Maryann came over after closing the store. After a little while of watching sexy Atsushi beautiful B-Tness, I dragged her over to shinigami so that she could send resumes and stuff to ads from craigslist (that girl needs a job and we both knew that if she went straight home after work, she'd never send any resumes out). While she was doing that Will and I watched the documentary part of Picture Product. B-T is so awesome. bondagepenguin, if you feel like downloading a bit of B-T, I happen to have a few random mp3s up on my site. I highly recommend Aikawarazu, and Dress is awesome. I'd say don't bother with 21st Cherry Boy, it's not anywhere near one of my favorites, but you're welcome to it if you'd like. If you're interested, I'm sure either Maryann or I could make you a CD of some of their stuff.

Drove them home around 3am (I really have to get my own car soon); got back home around 4, and fell asleep with my book beside me. ^^
