Sweet Jesus I ache this morning. Hit the gym last night for the first time this year and probably tried a little too hard. Still, it was kinda cool and I slept like a log last night. Decided to pull off a fuckoff grocery shop too and spent the best part of £100. My food cupboard looks awesome! Unpacking after a big haul at the supermarket is one of life's treasures. Especially when you've gone a bit nuts with the old credit card! Got home and had a lovely soak in the tub and then hopped into bed and watched Pushing Tin. Which is an awesome film and I don't give a shit what you say. Classic Cusack!
It's recently dawned on me that I don't listen to music anymore. I read or watch movies. Music has kinda gone out the window. But I borrowed the Iron Maiden Early Years DVD from Iz and it's totally amazing and reminded me that your first love is always the best. And my first love in life was definitely Maiden. Think I'm gonna buy all the albums on CD. All I have is battered vinyl copies in my folks' shed. Anyway, that DVD is the best thing I've seen in ages, mainly for the Live at the Rainbow gig. Gave me shivers down my spine it's so good! So anyway, here's my Maiden top whatever redux.
1. Killers
2. Powerslave
3. Piece of Mind
4. Iron Maiden
5. The Number of the Beast
6. Live After Death
7. Somewhere in Time
8. Maiden Japan
9. Seventh Son of a Seventh Son
10. Brave New World
