(no subject)
Well, my DSL's broken so I'll post this whenever everything gets fixed (it's July 31st as of this writing)
I suppose I should give some sort of brief recap of my summer so far. Man, it has kicked major arse, that's about all I can say in summary. France was absolutely incredible, I had an excellent French family (who were all communists too!) and the kids in my group were pretty much cool; certainly cooler than the kids I had last year (2 of whom I ran into).
Travelling was absomalutely posimatively amazing, I spent a solid week on the beach in Cape D'Ail in this tiny little $14-a-night hostel. The owner, Paolo, was awesome and Italian, though his tracheostomy made it almost impossible to hear him, especially considering that he wasn't speaking any English. Staying there was one of the few times that I could remember in which I've lived with 6 other guys for a week and not gone insane, hell, normally I can't live with one other. Shit yo, though, the girls pranked us TWICE, the second time by putting goddamn whipped cream on our feet. I'm one for pranks and good fun but this stuff smelled TERRIBLE, man, I woke up, smelled my pillow and wanted to be dead. We never did prank them back too, which kinda sucked. I think we were too pissed to pull a rational prank though, so it's probably for the better (Ollie's suggestion : "Alright guys, listen up, so let's say we put on ninja masks and get whipped cream and shaving cream. You follow me? Alright, then we sneak into their room really quietly and, while their sleeping, we CUT OUT THEIR FUCKING OVARIES, GODDAMN BITCHES MY PILLOW SMELLS FUCKING TERRIBLE!")
The Loire Valley was similarly beautiful, though I accidentally got hammered a bit at a wine TASTING (and cried for like 45 minutes after someone told me I had cooties, yes, it was interesting, and I'm never drinking again). I met some absolutely insane French kids though who tried to steal every single thing I had (and who, Jordan, take note, were completely obsessed with Mr. Robbie Williams himself).
