Moved In
I am sorry for not pouring out my soul on here since I moved. Here is life as I know it. We do not have a cable modem yet and the business center here is only open from 4pm-7pm. Which really fucks up your rhythm when you are used to coming on later in the day. Soooo. Rituals have abounded all over that apartment. Finally brought my cat here. We smuggled him in a suitcase. Thank GOD that we were the only ones on the elevator because he started meowing. He this thing about any motion that he did not create. So this morning I took him out of the apartment under the guise of looking like a bag a dirty laundry....
There is a $300 deposit to have cats here and then an additional $20 per month for him and I do not have access to extra cash as I am still looking for a freaking job. I told them to shave him down, wash him, clip his claws and put some obsession clogne on him. (ha ha just kidding about the cologne). Had a job interview yesterday and it went exceedingly well. Joe and I have spent half of last month in 2nd hand consignment shops getting furniture for our humble abode. My tells me now that one of her devoted students has given her a few rooms worth of furniture and a large screened tv.
NATURALLY because I am the only child, I asked for that damned tv and my laughed at me... Hey, I had to ask. It is soo nice living on the lake and watching the storms come in. Because of Hurricane Frances' plight through the nation, the weather here has been hectic. I haveing lunch with my parents today and they are running late which is affording me the time to come on here and rant. One more month and it will be our 2 year anniversary. October 31st is a great anniversary date. It makes for great conversations about what we were wearing when we first met but alas, we were not wearing costumes. Go figure!. That is all the news that I have from my life as I know it. I will not be such a stranger in the future.
