I left circusfetish today. It was boring and absolutely no circus-fetishizing was happening.

I remember when I was around 8 years old, I went to a bootleg circus with my daddy in the Philippines.

I remember the one part of the choreography when he had a flat hand turned sideways and it went next to his head and above his head. I can't describe it, but I can do that kinda well.

That "They Don't Care About Us" song is really fucking creepy. That whole HIStory album was really fucking creepy.

Actually, you're not half wrong there. It is really creepy, from ''Blood On the Dance Floor'' all the way through, it just gets stranger and stranger.

The lyrics of ''They Don't Care About Us'' are completely fucked up though. I mean, the man is completely out of his gourd.

Mikeyyyyy. You know what though? Sure, his lyrics were unusual, and enigmatic, at best, but are they much different from words spewed by Bjork or Radiohead? Not really. I think mostly, it was his image that was freakish, which of course throws down to his medium of choice.

So you're saying the doe-eyed innocence and yearnful pleading of "Childhood" is creepy? Have you no heart?

I cannot deny this. Her vocal quality has gone down since Daydream/Butterfly, BUT with this CD, her voice is climbing up the mountain again from the valley of lows.

Yeah, and at the end of the performance, he stood up, and nearly fell down. It was cringe-worthy for sure.
