So what's up is I've been reading Ezekiel today, that's why I've been in an odd mood i guess .__. fuck what an asshole. I know, i shouldn't let an idiot that lived 2600 years ago get to me, and i do find the shit he says funny in a way but its like... when i read it, and compare it to the way people act today, its like nothing's changed at all. People full of hate who accuse other people of what they themselves do, inciting violence and calling for the death of anyone who doesn't believe in El and Asherah er, woops I MEANT YHWH, yeah. They didn't absorb a Canaanite dual deity system and call it their own (and then proceed to eliminate the female deity to try to supress women) at all, nah, inconceivable.

I don't know if anyone knows this, but "the promised land" was not inhabited only by one religion, there were many religions in that land which were all wiped out, with the only remaining traces being small bits and pieces. The israelites/judaeans weren't even the original inhabitants of the land, they were just the most sucessful group amoung many groups of invaders migrating out of Sumeria at the time that were all attempting to go after land in the region, for some reason that I forget now. It wasn't until Ezekiel came along that all that multi-culturalism was completely stamped out (mostly, luckily the samaritans managed to hold out against his founding of Judaism). The man was a lunatic, he either pretended to or actually did have multiple personalities. I'd go for pretending to and wound up believing his own farce. The only reason he was successful was because he had been educated and had been in the priest-hood for 15-30 years and knew the affairs of the state, and was able to by intuition forsee that Babylon would destroy Jerusalem (for he was living in exile at the time, and Jerusalem had been under siege for fuck knows how many years, anybody would have been able to see that Babylon would destroy it eventually, had not everyone believed that the city was completely indestructable. way to GO!), and ended up using his "God" personality to convince everyone god was speaking through him, and even went so far as to pretend that his regular personality abhored at that which he himself wished for, the starvation, siege and death of the "idolaters and pagans", AKA regular people. Like i said, this is probably what every other prophet in existance at the same time acted like, the only difference with him was that he had the education to convincingly manipulate people. Sickening.

BTW, Samaritanism is still around, and is actually the original religion of the Israelites before Ezekiel hijacked it, lmao. There's only 700 Samaritans left though XD;

Anyway I knew all this already before I named my fanfiction character Ezekiel, so I'm not whining about wanting to change his name >_>

AHEM enough of that shit

Okay, there's this new anime coming from Gainax in the spring, I'm totally hyped about it XD The wikipedia entry seems to have something wrong with it though, otherwise I'd link it lol. As for it's name, I've heard a couple different things. The actual name is 天元突破グレンラガン、「Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann」, which translates to "Heaven-era Breakthrough Gurren Lagann", as Gurren Lagann is the name of the robot combined from the two robots Gurren and Lagann XD However for some reason the wiki entry has its name listed as "Making Breakthrough Gurren Lagann", which doesn't make much sense considering the use of 天 (heaven/sky) =/ I've found nothing to indicate Gainax's official english title for the series uses "Making" either. So anyway, it looks really awesome, Gainax's first robot anime since Evangelion! XD (and there's a couple of characters I know Jamie will love XD) Of course there's also the 4 new Evangelion movies to look forward to over the next 2 years as well X3 hehe

Pokemon Diamond and Pearl have been offically announced for US release as well :) The current set date is April 22, 2007

The satelite's been out for over a week now >__> I suppose its a good thing that I'm not missing any of Avatar since the third season isn't on till sometime early next year, but I've missed the hour and a half finale of Oban Star Racers .________. it was getting really fucking good too, omg I wanna know what happened T__T i hope they replay it... I also missed Eureka Seven when it was on, but we had anticipated that we wouldn't be able to catch it and went ahead and watched it on Youtube. Hopefully it'll be back by Saturday >< -unsure if it will be or not-
