Been a long time. . .
Well, I've been here on Dam Neck Naval Base in Virginia Beach for a little over a month now, and Thanksgiving just passed. That was pretty crazy, never missed a holiday like that before. It was alright though, just might boring. Thank goodness I get to go home soon, it'll be good to see home for a while. . . . even though it'll only be a little while. Well, School is a piece of cake, can't really talk about it, as a matter of fact, signed a paper saying I wouldn't, under penalty of law. It IS easy though. I should be done in a few more weeks, hopefully by Christmas, that way I can get my orders and get outta here, hopefully to a ship in San Diego. I don't want to leave before the 12th though, because those guys are going to their ships and goin out to sea for 6 months right off the bat. It would be nice, but they don't get leave before they go, I don't think, or else I would. Since, after all, I AM in the Navy, and my job can only really be done at sea. Well, I gtg, just wanted everyone to know that I was still alive, if anybody who didn't really cared.
