30 in 30 Part 1 - Fighting Sexcrime

Jun 03, 2006 23:08

When I started this account, I just wanted an account to participate in the ucdavis community. I've been very active Students for an Orwellian Society as the Deputy Minister of Love for Northern California. (Or in Newspeak, NorCal MiniLuv). The club has become less active as Innerparty members take positions elsewhere; of course, the UC Davis club's membership has risen 42% in the last year. As a result of this personnel shift, Big Brother has determined that a blog is the perfect way to communicate the love he has for the people of America and all of Oceania, and MiniTrue is happy to allow me to speak to you here. "30 in 30" is a doubleplusgood opportunity to spread patriotism throughout the blogosphere!

Old Glory, recently redesigned due to the mission accomplished in Iraq.

We live in plustroubled times. Terrorists crowd around, threatening to attack us at every streetcorner in the heartland. Our brave soldiers fight on in Mideastasia, bringing the light of democracy to the land. MiniPlenty is working doubleplushard to rebuild New Orleans, in such a way that it becomes more suitable for Outerparty and Innerparty members. Big Brother will get around to the proles plussoonwise. Petrol prices have only decreased 12% recently.

But when Big Brother gave his radio address, he addressed the most important issue facing America today: the doubleplusthreat of gay marriage! Big Brother focused his entire radio address on this crisis (MiniTrue archive), telling everyone how they should feel. Clearly, the fact that one state is issuing gay marriages means that the entire nation is threatened. These gay thoughtcriminals will stop at nothing to destroy our society.

I know that the liberal media is saying that this is an election year ploy to get more votes. This is not a ploy -- as Big Brother says, "An amendment to the Constitution is necessary because activist courts have left our Nation with no other choice. The constitutional amendment that the Senate will consider next week would fully protect marriage from being redefined, while leaving state legislatures free to make their own choices in defining legal arrangements other than marriage." By passing this constitutional amendment, he allows more freedom! See, freedom is slavery!

So as the US Senate spends the next week or two debating this issue, remember that they are spending their time on the most critical threat facing America.

Freedom is Slavery!
War is Peace!
Ignorance is Strength!
