The sad thing is, I've been told I'm arrogant. Which rather surprises me, because I tend to feel like I'm honest. I guess what they say about INTJs is true...

I don't think you are arrogant at all. BTW what does INTJ's mean?

INTJ- Introverted iNtuitive Thinking Judging

It's a personality type. If you're interested, here is a link to one of the many personality type profiles that can be found on the net:

If you've ever looked at my user info page, I have a tongue in cheek list of rules for dealing with INTJs.

I'm apparently a timid little bunny according to this test, yet only a couple of days ago some of my co-workers at one of my jobs were amazed that I was one of the few people the coordinator there refrained from playing head games with, and their theory was that she was probably intimidated by my 'imposing' stature & my tendency to stick to my boundaries. I'll have to say that the very thought of someone actually being afraid of me is rather strange to think of.

I know what you mean... I got out of more fights in high school because the other person just couldn't quite work up the nerve. I also had a friend of mine (a guy) get married and his wife took six months to work up enough nerve to actually be honest with me. She was intimidated by me, she said. To be fair, though, I am 5'9" and I towered over her, but still... I couldn't believe that it took six months for Frank and I to convince her that I wouldn't kill her if she said "boo" to me. The sad thing is, my situation with Isalene was far from an isolated incident.
