I am back from Botswana having had the most amazing time. I have lots of dodgy photos that my family and friends will be subjected to.
I was so close to lions I could have taken 5 steps and have been able to pat them. However I chose the safety of the safari truck and the continuing of my life. I saw them all, elephants, giraffes, hippos, impalas, wild african dogs, kudus, tsebes, zebras, leopards, wildebeests and water buffaloes. Also many birds, which paled in comparison I am sorry to say.
I even got woken in the middle of the night by a lions roar, which got the heart racing I must say.
Sadly I am now home and am back at work tonight, to help pay for my amazing birthday folly.
