ISLAND RELATIONSHIPS
Loki
He has some mixed feelings about Loki. On one hand, he really annoys him. Loki is another one of those characters who thinks they're better than everyone, and since Jay is kind of like that too, their personalies clash. And they clash a lot. Most of the time, they're fighting over something extremely trivial. But on the other hand, Jay is pretty interested about him. Loki keeps calling himself a god, and while Jay is still on the fence about whether or not he really is one, he does know that Loki is pretty powerful. So he's very curious over what Loki can do, so he will continue being around him in case he finds out something more. Curiosity always wins in the end.
Sharon Lainsworth
Another one of the very few people that Jay actually likes! She's the only person who he lives with that doesn't get on his nerves, so to him she's like a godsend. She's kind and sweet and, most importantly, she can keep Loki and Alice under control. He's a bit curious as to why Alice seems kind of scared of her, but he won't get into it-- for now. He's just really glad that he has someone he can talk to without wanting to stab them afterward.
Ranka Lee
/
While he doesn't consider her a friend, she is one of the very few people he enjoys to talk to. Most of the people he knows on island are extremely bossy or they never listen to him when he tells them something. But Ranka is the opposite! They actually have conversations that don't end with them fighting, although most of the time he's making fun of her. And he knows that she doesn't like it when he teases her like that, but hey it could be worse. He trusts her just enough so that he'd go to her if he needs help with something, but he's still nowhere near close enough to open up about anything to her.
Ling Yao
Jay completely and utterly hates Ling. Their first meeting wasn't anything that great considering that Ling tried to kill him, but Jay was able to forgive that since he wasn't in the right state of mind. And Jay was kind of hoping that he might get along with him after he snapped out of it, but he soon found out how wrong he was. In the beginning Jay thought that Ling would be just another Moses to him, except deep deep down he actually does like Moses. And there isn't a single thing that he likes about Ling. Even more, having a family is Jay's only dream so the fact that Ling attacks his brothers and sisters just for a crown really upsets him. But Jay is willing to deal with him until they have their rematch.
Judith
Jay has... extremely mixed feelings involving Judy. When they first met, he figured that she would just end up being someone who enjoyed to tease him. And, for awhile, he was right! She was basically the only person on the island who could get him extremely flustered, and then the whole hologram event happened. He's a bit wary about her now since she knows the gist of his relationship with Solon thanks to that, but Jay's also very thankful that she didn't ask any questions and took really great care of him during the event. As of now, he's really not sure how to act around her though, although he does genuinely like her now. He's just going to be very awkward at showing it.
This is a work in progress!
