this is my brain on caffeine
i couldn't sleep last night, so i spent a stupid amount of time lying in bed. to pass the time, i planned my 'dream wedding reception' (after the wedding to my non-existent partner). do you wanna hear about it? here it goes.
first of all, i prefer intimate affairs, and i thought about all the people i would truly want there, and my guestlist totalled to just under 25 people. hopefully future man in my life can do the same. so, 50 people for a casual dinner: is it crazy to think that could happen in someone's home (one of our parents')? if not, a rented hall will suffice (but i'd rather have a house party atmosphere). food: pizza and sushi platters. in lieu of gifts, guests can bring a bottle of booze or a dessert if they wish, to be shared. i'm thinking it would be fun to have prizes for first bottle finished, and best dessert. entertainment: karaoke lounge! cards against humanity! twister, lawn bowling, etc. late night snack: poutine, of course.
