It's hard being a girl. I want this, I want that, I want more of this, I NEED more of that. Oh well, thankfully I am earning for myself right now but I too have an obsession with saving money so I don't really have a lot to spend for goodies every month.
Went out shopping with mom dearest after having lunch at Meritus Mandarin for the DBS Union Lunch and the total damage done today was around a $150. I know it's not a lot to some people but it's damn bloody a lot to me. I have burnt a hole in my pocket and payday is still a week away.
But I bought items that I have been pondering about for a few months so at least it wasn't things that were bought on a whim.
The damage was done one:
- pocket sized watercolour set
- Shu Uemura eyelash curler
- Shiseido Maquillage Enamel Lip Gloss
- 2 Shiseido Mini Nail Colour
The Shiseido Mini Nail Colour is darn cute! It's only 3.7ml and it costs SGD 7 each. Haven't really tried out the colours since I just changed a new coat of polish but ya, kinda excited for next weekend to come so I can change colours again. I think I am going to be addicted to Shiseido but its darn expensive. The Lip Gloss and almost all of its lipstick costs SGD 43!! Compare that to MAC's regular $28. Urgh.

Anyway, lately I have been sketching a lot. Been wanting to get the watercolour set but didn't want to fork the $26 bucks out but I finally did. Practice really makes perfect, I truly believe that. Besides, consistently drawing will help in my profession too. Right now, I am still not too good, my lines are erratic and I don't have my own style yet. But I am slowly getting there. Let's go!
