just an observation i made this morning....
i have a background in art but it's this eye i have for things that caused me to be an artist, not the other way around. just had to say that. 8^) when was a toddler, before i had enough manual dexterity to draw a circle i'd sit in church and scribble on any piece of paper my mum would give me. when i was finished scribbling my mum would find shapes w/in my scribbles and would say, "look, you drew a kitty" "maggie, i see the whale you drew!" etc. so at an early age i was guided to see form within noise, if that makes any sense at all. those simple lessons from early childhood, combined w/ my photophobia as well as inherited sense of making out detail (most people in my family have 20/10-20/15 vision and are excellent marksmen) have caused me to have a strong artistic leaning.
