LJ Idol writing rollercoaster? I'm signing up!

So friend Cisyln convinced me to join up and join her team for this craziness while I was petting cats, my known weak spot. So I'll be doing the LJ idol mini season writing extravoganza with her and others on what is now known as Team Avocado.

therealljidol is a writing competition, loosely based on a combination of Survivor and American Idol. The full seasons are long and require crazy commitment, but the mini seasons are much smaller, and have some kind of theme or twist. The mini season is just about to start. There is still time to join in the fray.

Translation into English:
My friend Cislyn, irl, convinced me to join a writing "competition" that is styled much like Idol or Survivor or some such (to my knowledge... I'm def a newb on this one o_O;;) on LJ where every week there is a prompt issued, you write a thing, people get to vote, and you can either progress to the next round, or get voted out. I'll be playing on a team with Cislyn, whose writing LJ I can't recall at the moment, one of her friends, and one of our mutual friends. You will probably see some weird posts here, all tagged, for that, since everything is posted on individual journals, and linked to the community.
