mimsmom's Japanese Onion SoupI've found a new favorite LJ Community... super_supper!
The idea is simple - Members post a photo of a meal they've made, the recipe, serving suggestions, and any other info so others may easily reproduce it. Going through the archives, there are SO MANY great dishes I wanna try. To the right is a Japanese onion soup that's just like they serve at nice restaurants and teppanyaki places. Someone else posted a really tasty looking meatball dish with spinach. I think livingdeadcrizl would like the peanut-tamarind sweet potato curry. I think one of the cabbage rolls winked at me.
Right now, I'm in my office chair, squirming in agony just thinking about all these dishes. The Japanese soup just became another top-contender for what I want for my birthday dinner. Currently my top list, in no particular order, is: Japanese soup, sukiyaki, spaghetti with very-meaty & thick tomato sauce or a good curry dish. It'll be hard to figure out which one I want most. I'll probably have to resort to using a random choice script to decide for me. Oooor, maybe I should just have 'em all.
