The Heider farm in Janesville, Wisconsin, recently had their 3rd white buffalo in a little over a decade. This one isn't related, in any way, to Miracle, the famed white buffalo from the same farm (the other one didn't survive past 4 days). The odds are astronomical for even one white buffalo, about 1 in over a million, but 3 in such a short span? Crazy.
Should this new calf mature, the Heiders plan to breed this one with Miracles offspring, which might increase the odds of future white calves.
