The good, the bad, and the blah
The good: mother lived through surgery.
The bad: The doctor apparently cutting part of her intestine where he entered to do the surgery and that she will be at the hospital a day or two longer than previously anticipated.
The blah: The fact that I still have no idea exactly what the surgery performed was--wasn't really thinking clearly to ask. Also, blah, the fact that I am struggling with being a bad son and not going to see my mother in the hospital because there's a very strong possibility of my passing out and having a seizure (don't ask).
