These are probably the same people that think that having a penis is required to climb a ladder and paint scenery. I don't know. Maybe they are prehensile or something and I just never noticed.

This was the only explanation we could come up with! Granted, the "we" in this case was a bunch of annoyed HS girls who were pissed that we were given the job of "drawing posters to advertise the concert" while the guys got to climb on ladders, mess with the lights, walk on the catwalk and paint. We made sure to speculate about this loudly.

Funnily enough, we were allowed to do all the other stuff the next day. Quite possibly because we made several of the guys (including the band director) very uncomfortable with out questions and speculations. XD

I think I am going to have to use that reasoning all the time now, and I kind of wish that when I was the only girl techie in HS, I'd had someone to speculate with about it, when the guys were all 'don't touch that!' and I was like 'I have been doing woodworking since I was five now give me the damn drill before I thwap you with a two-by-four'. *sigh* It just never sunk in.
