Yeah I don't deny that with some characters that DOES happen, although with that one in particular I do think that's mostly Sasori being a control freak weirdo and not thanks to much submissive behaviour on Deidara's part: it's not as if there are these two genders within male that have to be matched up in order to produce a valid pairing.
