1. Where would you most like to travel to and why?
I'd either take a road trip all over North America for as long as I could afford it, stopping wherever I found something interesting, or become a hand on a freighter, sailing around experiencing as much as the world as possible. The road trip I hope to do some day. The cargo ship I would do if I could drop everything in my life with no regrets.
2. What's your most embarrassing moment?
I'm having trouble thinking of anything recent, yet a few good things come to mind:
1) I forget how old I was, but was young enough to still be in daycare. I was at a summer daycare program at the YMCA. I must have been bored, because I decided to take a tiny little magnetic piece of some board game, and successively stick it into all the openings in my face. Unfortunately, after sticking it up my nose, it wouldn't come back out. I remember all the other kids laughing at me as I sat inside blowing my nose for hours, trying to get it out. My mom had to come early to pick me up, because little summer-campers running around all day with tiny magnets up their noses just wouldn't be proper. After countless hours of crying and blowing, the magnet finally found its way out of my nose.
2) During my pyromaniac days in France, I discovered one night that lighting tissues on fire and throwing them off our sixth floor balcony looked really cool. Unfortunately, our neighbors on the lower floors did not share my enthusiasm in the matter. One of the upstanding citizens below us phoned the police. My parents, in the mean time, were in the middle of hosting a dinner party, thus there was a large group of their friends at our flat. Suddenly, there was a knock at the door, and four gendarmes are suddenly asking my rather intoxicated father why it is raining fire in front of our apartment building. After interrupting the party with a search of the apartment, they realized it was just some silly American kid unsupervised on the balcony, and went on their way. I was mortified as my parents and all the party guests had a long drunken round of laughter at my expense.
3. If you could morph into a girl, what are three things you'd want to do?
Would this just be a temporary morph? If so, is there a time limit? Would I control what kind of girl I morph into? Could I be cute? First, I think I'd go to a bar or a party, and see what it was like to be harassed by guys who were trying to get in my pants. I think it would be interesting to see the differences in how men treated me based on how I dressed and acted. Second, I would pick out the guy who looked like he had the best genes, take him home, and have sex. Lots of sex. I want to know what it feels like from the other side. And girls' orgasms just seem like they're more fun. Third, after all that sex, I would logically be pregnant. I'd like to go through pregnancy and childbirth. It has to be completely different from anything I'll ever experience. Bring on the morning sickness and weird food cravings! And we'll see just how painful getting that baby out really is.
4. If I left my LJ/paper journal completely open for you to look at while I was gone, would you want to look at it? Would you?
Yes, I would definitely be curious to look at it. One of the things I hate about LJ is how you can see those protected entries, but not read them. It's frustrating knowing that there's something someone wrote that they obviously don't want me to read, but their other friends may be able to see. At the same time, I know it's important to have a private place to get your thoughts down. So, as tempting as it would be, I would only read your journal if you wanted to share it with me.
5. Would you rather be a famous singer/musician, actor or director?
I would want to be a musician. I think I would enjoy that lifestyle the most. I'd play drums or guitar, and probably not sing. I would love going out on tour, performing in front of thousands of people, and getting to play lots of music. I feel like I might be better at acting though, and I'm sure I would enjoy it as well. Being in a rock band just seems more glamorous to me, so I think I would choose it over acting.
