No more excuses.

No more excuses. I need to buy a new bag for work now!

I really shouldn’t pay attention to what someone says to me, but I can’t help it, I always do.

So, it’s been a long time coming. My backpack (a small Ralph Loren navy blue water resistant) anyway, the other day one of my colleagues comes by me office and I don’t know, maybe she was looking for a topic to start a conversation and my bag is hanging in my cubicle and she goes, “you can't use this bag anymore, it’s bad for Karma”

o-O

“Seriously, don’t bring this to the office anymore, bring a fabric bag (I guess she means a tote) till you find something different".

I was feeling rather embarrassed and giggled a bit and asked her if anyone has gossiped about it?

And she goes: “No, but I wouldn’t tell you if they had, I wouldn’t to make you feel bad”.

o-O, o-O

between you and me, here she is telling me not to bring my bag to the office anymore and she doesn’t want to make me

feel bad!?

I was feeling sheepish, so I was laughing with her and said “Yes, I know it’s disgusting and embarrassing, but I haven’t

found anything else I like yet”.

(today I hid it under desk for fear she’ll see it)

See my backpack has frayed all around the top flap and parts have faded and discolored, so I am

a bit embarrassed but I just haven’t been able to find a replacement yet, though I haven’t really searched that hard.

I’ve been to a couple of stores but didn’t like what they had. I’ve looked on L.L.Bean and Ebay, just not sure of

the actual size of the bags they are selling on line. Also, considered knitting one, but that will take me forever.

However, now I feel I have a serious problem. I need to find some sort of substitute till I decide what I want.

Edit 12:02 -

Now I’m a bit irritated. Someone at the kitchen just laughed at me for drinking my water with Raspberry Syrup.

She said “what are you a little girl, you need raspberry syrup”…well EXCUSE ME! None of her freaking business what I drink.

FWIW, right now (it’s probably the nursing) water doesn’t taste all that, I need it sweeter…and also at work they have a water filter

Instead of bottled water so it tastes kind of iffy. I’m pretty sure that once I wean my daughter, water will be fine, but in the mean time

It’s none of their business.
