DD was given her last Prevenar (vaccine against Pneumonia).
I thought I was all done with vaccines, but apparently she needs to have some boosters at 18 mos. And also a standard evaluation done. My gosh babies first year is so busy…and the 2nd year it seems is also somewhat.
DD was very good when she got the shot. It was given in her leg. She cried a tiny bit but not from the needle, I don't think she felt the needle what she felt was the substance of the vaccine. The nurse was very impressed with how good she is. She's very docile in public.
I asked the nurse to weigh her as I was curious to see if she gained….but I guess she's going to be a wee one, as we were told whilst I was PG that she would be tall and skinny.
Weight: 2 month ago was 7.675 kg (16.88 lbs)
Yesterday: 8.060 kg (17.73 lbs) …She's gaining under 200 grams per month under 1/2 lbs.
Height: 2 month ago was 65 cm's (25 inches)
Yesterday: 70 cm's (27 inches)
Head circumference: 2 month ago 44 cm's (17 inches).
Yesterday: 45 cm's (17.5 inches)
The nurse is satisfied, she said as long as her head circumference is sticking to the average percentile, which it is, DD is healthy and developing accordingly and she is growing that it's fine.
