Start them young

Do any of you watch the Clone Wars? I enjoyed the movies much more than this cartoon, but DH is watching it and consequently, DS as well.
I'm not sure it's the best thing for a 6 year old, it is violent, but at least the good guys win.
When it comes to Star Wars…you could say DH feels "Start them young" 
Anyway, the key to getting DS a costume for Purim was accessories. DS was with me yesterday and we went by this small toy store with a huge range of costumes, and well at first he said he wanted to be a Pirate because they have a gun and a sword, but then he couldn't find it, instead he found a light saber…and I found they had Star Wars costumes.
So I stupidly asked…and sure enough the boy was interested, he's wanted a light saber for a while now. So I had to get the original since this store took the trouble to import it.
I ended up spending triple what I thought I would have to spend for Purim. Oh well. He can play with the saber year round. As for the costume next year he'll be in a new school and will not know anyone, so no harm in wearing the same costume again. So it's good for 2 years.
He is quite excited about this costume.
We went with Anakin Skywalker because DS does not want to be a bad guy.
They had Darth Vadar, Storm Troopers, Cody Banks which is a clone and some weird looking Star Wars creatures. The saber he got, is really Luke's Saber, but I didn't see a Luke costume.
I have to wonder if DH is a little envious.
This is the costume:
