We called the online flower provider yesterday to find out what happened. They said no one was at the address we provided. No one answered the phone, do we have a cell?
So 1st…why couldn't they email us? We would have found out earlier.
2nd…we provided them with a cell and sure enough that helped as now we have a confirmation that it was delivered…but the confirmation says delivered on Saturday 8/11 when yesterday on the phone they told us they couldn't get anyone on Saturday or Sunday and that is why they didn't delivery…so am I to understand that the confirmation is a lie.
I would love to know that it did make it on Saturday…but I think not.
As for DD, yesterday we got a call from the day care that she's refusing her bottles. They were worried she'd dehydrate so they asked me to come over and nurse her. I asked my boss and it was okay, so that's what I did. She smiled when she saw me. Shame I can't do that every day. I noticed that she coughed and cried, so I figured I'd take her to te doctor to have a look. FINALLY, my own pediatrican is back. He said it's a virus that her ears are slightly infected but that no treatment is neccesary…so I guess she has a cold. He wants me to come back in a couple of days, if she's well enough so that she can get the flu vaccines. Oy…but I do think she could use it, as the last thing she needs is the flu…only this is a vaccine that scares me because it has had some bad media in the last 2 years, with some ppl dieing as a result of it.
She has refused the bottles again today, but they didn't call me as they knew she nursed in the morning and she at 11:30 she was willing to eat fruit (8 tsp). I think I'll try to give her tomorrow before she goes to day care drops to releve pain in the ear. I hope that helps.
She refused the "soup" for lunch…hubby and I are just concerned that she is going on a bottle strike.
