Well, I really need to figure out which breast pump to get, because though I still don't know when I'm going back to work, I need to start creating a milk bank in my freezer and it will also be handy for the hospital stay when she has her surgery...because, I'm sure she will sleep through some meals at first...
I wanted to purchase the AVENT Isis iQ uno. I have the manual one, and was really happy with it when I was pumping for DS all those years ago.
However, in Israel they sell it as a kit and it comes to 800 nis. or $222 The store told me to wait that they sometimes have offers, but nothing so far. I've been checking.
Since my brother is coming from England in 10 days or so I could get it from Amazon UK or Mothercare, and it will work out slightly cheaper to about 650 nis ($180), just the pump on it's own.
http://www.mothercare.com/gp/product/B000JFL5PK However, when I was at the pharmacy of my Health Clinic I discovered that they are offering the basic Medela Mini Electric for 299 nis ($83), but I'm worried it will not be as good as even the web site says: "Ideal fort short-term and occasional use".
The health clinic is only offering this type.
http://www.medela.ch/ISBD/en/breastfeeding/products/mini.php The thing is, I don't really fancy spending a lot of money on something that will probably only be for this child, I highly doubt I'll have any more children and if I do, it will just be one more...
I have my reasons for saying this but that is a whole other post.
