Och, I'm so stressed out at work the whole time about getting my work done and training my sub that it physically exhausts me.
Anyway,
Thursday…11/29 we had an ultrasound done, it was supposed to be w/ the Nephrologists, but he called in sick. Sucks! They had a dr. do the ultrasound anyway.
Babies in good state…I guess. She gained weight. She went up by 0.500 grams in 3 weeks. I was at week 33 and she was estimated at the 50% percentile 2Kg's (that's about 4.4 lbs), they told us they would call me back and set up an appointment for another ultrasound in two weeks time (I guess next week) w/ Nephrologists. They still haven't called me.
My amniotic fluid was measured by this dr. it is still above average, but still of no concern…this time it was 17 cm's…so to me that's an improvement…as 6 wks or so before that it was 20 cm's. Average is 14 cm's.
yes, her right Kidney is still big. her left Kidney is still good. Dr. also noted we can see very good breathing motions.
I believe I saw the baby sucking her thumb. I don't know, I get the feeling about this little one that she's a little rascal and going to be much more of a handful. We were quite blessed with DS. He was quite easy going.
I get heart burn after heavy meals, fatty foods, etc.,not taking anything, don't want to. Soda Water only works briefly.
I also get breathless when I climb stairs, or so ppl have been telling me for the past few month…that scares me…I keep worrying it's not the pg…that it's my lungs…b/c I keep worrying about dying like my mom did.
This Tuesday, 12/4 was the 1st light of Hanukah; DS was so looking forward to the party, talked about it the whole week. Finally, we go to the party and I'm thinking he'll have such fun, and he did his Shy stunt again. For most of the evening, he sat next to me wouldn't let me clap my hands or sing along, just watched the other kids with the look of I'd like to do that and yet did not. Half way through he did start participating in some of the things they did and he did great when it come to the kids getting their treats. The teacher had a box with small presents for the kids. Every kid was supposed to take one red, one green and one blue pressie. DS was right in front and went straight in when the teacher gave word…yep, he wasn't shy at all then.
They all got the same: Chocolote Coins, a Candle shaped like a spinning top and of course, a set of wind up spinning tops.
I was so sure he was over he's shy bit in day care b/c last year he was already taking the microphone and singing in front of everyone…oh well.
Strange though, he is practically the king of the class, quite popular amongst the kids and quite a few girl friends. I was told he is very sociable. His play date girlfriend which we go to every week now invited him to dance with her but he didn't want to…and yet when he goes over to her home they dance together when they watch JoJo and the Circus. Go figure.
I have assorted photos to upload…who knows if I will.
As for Hanukah / Xmas…DH and I are no longer bothered about such things…we just get for DS. We don't need to buy for each other…silly really and wasteful.
When we need stuff we get it. We have wish lists for each other for our birthdays.
I got DS some new cloths and let my dad pick out an outfit; he'll give that to DS.
DS want's some Thomas the Tank little trains…and a playing mat…I was sucked in to getting him one the other day when I got him new Wellington boots (he's feet are growing fast this year), he always loves to look at the brochures that come with the toys and chooses more stuff. I don't think I've seen the playing mat in Israel, so since he's birthday is coming up I've made up a wish list for him on Amazon…maybe I'll get him some stuff…though we plan on getting him a bicycle.
You can look at it here:
Please note...AMAZON will not ship toys to Israel...you will need to coordinate with me or ship it to your address and send by mail to DS. Amazon will only ship DVD's, CD's and books to Israel. This is just so you can get an idea if you are so inclined.
Right now DS just has Donald the black train. I wonder if he even needs tracks. We have the Brio train set at home...and it seems futile to get another set of railroads, though I know he's taken by the various stations etc.,
I'd like to send my cousins in England and the USA something…but the problem is, I haven't a clue…when ppl. live in England or the USA, there is nothing really I can send their kids from here…we just don't have the variety that one has over their, and they seem to all want for nothing. So, maybe just candy…if I ever get round to the post office that is. I'd like though to get them something...I just don't know what they are in to.
