Religion is complete and utter shit. Christians often forget the most important tenants of their faith and what is the greatest commandment which is to love god with everything you have and to love your neighbor as yourself. In early Christian history when Paul was writing to the Corinthians he wrote something quite gorgeous, 1 Cor. 13, or the love chapter. This is read often at weddings...but what most Christians forget or don't realize is that what Paul wrote about love was not just to be read at nuptials, but was to define and differentiate between Christianity and other beliefs.
That love was the cornerstone of all. More important than rules, more important than the ability to reason or be scholarly, more important than knowledge, or even self sacrifice. What mattered in this new belief construct was faith, hope and love and the most important being love.
So my dear, you should find someplace in the LBGT community where your gift of love can be the most utilized. And as a pagan, you are more a christian than those that preach hate could ever be, and a much better man.
