2004 Slashababy - prezzies for everyone
We want YOU to sign up for the Lotrips Secret Slasha, where all your Christmas Slash wishes come true (at least, we hope they do) and Santa prefers you to have been naughty, rather than nice. Signups close on Nov. 25!
The idea is, you sign up with the pairing and genre you would like in a fic and then you get someone else's request to write. It's all hush-hush, because you don't tell the other person that you're going to be leaving them something under the tree.
Note: we know life can get crazy. If you simply can't write it in time, or realize you are totally blocked on the pairing assigned, please contact the mods and we'll work it out: the sooner the better, please!
Assuming the mods get our act together, the fics will go online on Christmas Day for general acclaim and speculation. Then on New Year's Day, we add the authors, so you can find out who was your Santa this Christmas, and thank them.
In past years, the quality of the stories was fabulously high -- this challenge brought out some great creativity! See the list from 2002 and the stories from 2003 posted in slashababy comm in December, January and even one in February. (Please don't be so late this year, kthx.)
We're also looking for backup writers in case some people drop out -- we'd be eternally grateful for some who are flexible in pairing and genre.
