Yes, the beings who are mixed with the Seven to make this new breed of heroes, as well as the other characters, are very real and dear to our hearts. :-) They have all already been rescued from various dangers and perils in the world, and we do not wish to have to do so again nor would we ever wish such tragedy upon our loved ones. Josiah dismounted and looked around as the birds began their early morning ritual songs. His long, gray plume of a tail swished. He would let the tiny beasties live today. He hadn't come here for them but for an entirely different reason altogether.
He pounced onto the very edge of the mountain and looked out as the first, pink rays of the sun rose beyond the distant horizon. He purred, his gray plume swishing more slowly beneath his poncho.
He came here whenever he needed his faith renewed for no one could watch the Earth come to wake and not recognize the mightier paw that held it all together in Her loving grasp. He inhaled deeply all the scents of the morning as the other animals began to come forth from their dens and gave himself up to the lovely scene before him.
