Back down to uni after the Easter break and I can be on the internet as often as I like now, no evil stepdad to frown upon my time on the comp :D Love being able to do what I want again in my own place but the downside is the place we're renting at the minute is horrible; still full of damp and horrible smells and a generally depressing atmosphere...genuinely makes both of us ill. BUT today we found an absolutely gorgeous house to rent for next year...and its £5 cheaper a week than the hellhole we've got now! It comes fully furnished; fitted wardrobes, 3 piece suite, top of the range washing machine, double-glazed windows, a combi-boiler so we don't run out of water as we have been doing here, the landlady even provides ironing board, iron, hoover, tableware...it's an amazingly gorgeous place...and we even have a garden so we can have BBQ and everything! wish we'd found that place last year, I know we only live down here during term-time but a nice home is important...we've both been ill and found our work suffering as a result of living in such a damp and nasty place and there's no need for it...we're paying £500 a month for the privilege of having the place make us ill, it's mad! and the landlord is a twat and doesn't care what happens to us or the place as long as he gets his money every month.
so yea, I'm all bouncy and excited at having my 'net access back and because we've found an amazing place for next year, can't wait to be living there :D
I've just discovered that one of my friends has an embarassing video of me on her phone lol. We went out on Friday night and I got slightly drunk and fell over as we were walking home. Apparently I was rolling all over the road giggling and laughing. The best part of it is was that I was wearing white trousers and they have barely a mark on them which is lucky, only mark is where some coins in my pocket have left an imprint from the dirt on the road and that should wash out easily :) Now I have to wait 4 weeks to see this video! she's already bluetoothed it to my mam and she sent it to my stepdad who is now threatening to put it on the internet...so I need to see how bad it really is!!! It was a really good night all in all though I really enjoyed myself. I blame the double rum and cokes for making me fall over...
